Output modes
Output modes
Output modes determine how Otera imports data to your Notion database.
Append mode
Imported data will be added as new rows to your database. This mode is only available when your request type is set to Run once.
Overwrite mode
Imported data will update and overwrite existing data in your database.
- if your request type is to run once, your data will be updated based on a unique field that you choose
- if your request type is to run for each row, it will be updated based on variables that refer to your Notion database values
How to change output modes
- Create a new request or open an existing one
- Click on the Output options step
- Under Output mode, you can specify append or overwrite
