Map database fields

Field mapping connects data from your API response to fields in your Notion database. This determines exactly what information gets imported and where it goes in your database.

How to set up field mapping

1. Create or update an existing request
2. Complete the step Set request options
3. Click Map database fields
4. Otera will try to analyze your API response and suggest mappings
5. You can update or delete () any mapping
6. To add a new mapping:
   • Click
   • Select a source field (data from your API response)
   • Select a destination Notion field (the Notion database field it will get saved to)

Otera supports saving to these Notion fields:

• Email
• Select
• Multi-select
• Status
• Number
• Phone number
• Rich text
• Title
